Scholarships
The Alumni Association is responsible for overseeing several annual scholarships, The Pearl Born Scholarship, The Association Scholarship, and The BCTC Scholarship.
The Pearl Born Scholarship is presently a $1,000 scholarship, administered by the Everett Area Alumni Association and funded by money from the Pearl Born estate. It is presented to an Everett High School Senior who will be majoring in education.
The Association’s Scholarship is presently a $1,000 scholarship, fully funded by the Association. This scholarship is given to an Everett High School Graduate that will be attending the Allegany College of Maryland. The Association’s Scholarship is officially presented to the recipient at the annual anniversary banquet held in October.
New as of the 2014 school year is 2- $250 Grant for an Everett student attending the Bedford County Technical Center to be used for tools and/or supplies for his/her vocation after graduation.
